Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on location)
• Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable
• Operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Complete required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing prescriptions and data entry.
• Prepare medications under pharmacist supervision.
