Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on location requirements
• Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Enter data and prepare medications within regulatory guidelines
• Assist with prescription processing and order fulfillment
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep workspace clean
• Engage with patients and providers to answer questions and direct clinical inquiries
