You will fill orders, deliver medications to nursing units, manage automated dispensing cabinets, process returns, monitor inventory, assist in clinical reviews, and maintain logs with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Technician Registration Certificate from the State Board of Pharmacy within 90 days, or current Intern certificate.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Demonstrated competence surrounding pharmaceutical terminology.
• Effective decision-making skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders by accurately preparing and packaging medications.
• Deliver medications and supplies to nursing units.
• Perform daily ADC routine and troubleshoot ADC issues.
• Process medication returns.
• Monitor pharmacy inventory and notify manager of reorders.
• Assist pharmacists in clinical reviews.
• Maintain required documentation logs and perform audits.
