Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Technician Registration Certificate from the State Board of Pharmacy or intern certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Fill orders by accurately preparing and packaging medications.
  • Deliver medications and other pharmacy supplies to the nursing units.
  • Perform daily ADC routine (restocks, outdates, discrepancy resolution, loading/unloading) and troubleshoot ADC issues.
  • Process medication returns (unused, discontinued, or patient discharge).
  • Monitor pharmacy inventory and notify the manager of reorder needs.
  • Assist pharmacists in clinical reviews (medication reconciliation, triaging reports).
  • Maintain documentation logs and perform audits (e.g., anesthesia, overrides).
