St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and documenting workflows.

The role requires accurate, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced hospital environment. Must have a NJ Registered Pharmacy Technician registration and ongoing CEU requirements; high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Certification by an organization recognized by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy required.
• Registration by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods.
• 20 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) annually as approved by Pharmacy Management.

Responsabilités

• Handle storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications; maintain drug inventory and patient records.
• Complete required documentation; work under direct supervision of the pharmacist; knowledge of drug names, dosages and dosage forms.
