Job summary

St. Joseph's Health in Paterson, NJ is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist in providing medications and healthcare products with exceptional customer care.

The role requires a high school diploma, fluent English, and the ability to perform math calculations accurately. Candidates with 1–2 years in a retail pharmacy, 340B or specialty pharmacy experience, and active NJ Board of Pharmacy registration within 90 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient and fluent in reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding English.
• Prefer 1–2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Previous 340B and/or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
• Require active registration and licensure with NJ Board of Pharmacy as pharmacy technician within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
