Banner Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Glendale, AZ, to prepare, dispense, and compound medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will support pharmacy operations, ensure accurate therapy delivery, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, handling inventory, and assisting with billing and documentation while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification in Arizona.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult mathematical calculations with a handheld calculator.
• 160 hours of on-the-job training required.

Mansioni

• Review and interpret prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepare and dispense medication under supervision; deliver to patient.
• Answer phones, accept prescriptions, and communicate with patients as needed.
• Assist with inventory, maintain a clean work environment, and support administrative duties.
• Follow policies and regulatory requirements; perform other assigned tasks.
