Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Boise, ID to process prescriptions, enter data, and prepare medications under pharmacist supervision. You will interact with patients, handle transactions, and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist while maintaining accurate records and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 16+ or 18+ depending on location requirements.
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and enter data accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare medications and assist with order processing within regulatory limits.
