Pavilions in California is seeking a Pharmacy Technician under pharmacist supervision. You will assist with processing prescriptions, data entry, and medication preparation within regulatory guidelines while delivering courteous patient service.

The role emphasizes accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, with focus on organization, record keeping, and daily operations support.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on location)
• Board registration/licensure required where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and enter data accurately
• Prepare medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist customers with questions, transactions and inquiries
• Maintain records, restock supplies and keep workspace clean
• Follow HIPAA and federal/state pharmacy laws
• Communicate with patients and providers effectively
• Support daily operations and ensure workflow efficiency
