Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with accurate prescription processing, data entry, and medication preparation while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will interact with customers, answer questions, and help direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist. This role emphasizes organization, records management, restocking, and keeping the workspace compliant with HIPAA and federal/state laws.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on location requirements).
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision
• Prepare medications and assist with medication orders
• Interact with customers, answer questions, and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and organized
