Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engaging customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to company policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining the pharmacy's appearance and supplies.
• Building relationships with the medical community and supporting clinical and outreach activities.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through designated training and/or state registration, and pursuing certification as a condition for promotion.
• Attending training, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
