• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support other Pharmacy Department duties as per company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in their operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service, engaging with customers and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure satisfaction.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, following all policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering information into pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with workflow management.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and safety policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and support inventory management activities.
• Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and foster respectful relationships with coworkers.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through training programs or state registration.
• Attend training sessions, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare developments.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification.
