Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and answering questions.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and offer assistance, ensuring a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practices under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Perform duties like entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and supporting workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist with OTC products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
• Support inventory management and maintain proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
• Assist in clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Develop relationships with the medical community through outreach and detailing.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy environment.
• Follow all company policies and complete assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program and/or state requirements, with promotion contingent on certification.
• Attend training and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
