Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers as applicable.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers and resolving issues effectively.
4. Assist in pharmacy operations, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
5. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies regarding pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
6. Handle sales transactions accurately, assist customers in locating products, and support inventory management activities.
7. Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
8. Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community and support external outreach efforts.
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy environment.
10. Complete ongoing training, maintain PTCB certification, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico), willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a commitment to professional growth and excellent customer service.
