Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers and resolving issues.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practices under pharmacist supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, error reporting, and workflow management.
• Handle sales transactions, assist with inventory management, and support clinical services and external healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification; certification may be a condition for promotion.
• Attend training sessions, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
