Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in their operation.
• Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.

Additional duties:

• Supporting pharmacy operations, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medications, and maintaining workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and external healthcare provider relationships.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy environment and complying with all policies and procedures.

Training & Personal Development:

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification/registration, with promotion contingent upon certification.
• Participating in training and continuing education to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico), and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
