Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Perform other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies and procedures.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience:

• Engage customers and patients, greet them, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations:

• Assist in pharmacy practices under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and supporting workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
• Support inventory management, clinical services, and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification. Certification is a condition for promotion.
• Attend training, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
