Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if certified.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships.

Customer Experience

1. Greeting customers, offering assistance, and ensuring a positive experience.
2. Sharing customer service best practices and proactively identifying customer needs.
3. Building relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

1. Supporting pharmacy operations including data entry, prescription filling, and verifying medications under supervision.
2. Reporting prescription errors and adhering to quality and safety policies.
3. Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims.
4. Supporting inventory management and clinical services, and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
5. Building relationships with healthcare providers and supporting community outreach.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
2. Attending training sessions and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
