Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching and assisting other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

1. Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
2. Sharing customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
3. Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

1. Supporting pharmacy operations, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medications, and assisting with workflow management.
2. Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to quality policies.
3. Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
4. Supporting inventory management and clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
5. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy environment.
6. Complying with all policies and maintaining respectful coworker relationships.
7. Completing assigned tasks and special projects as needed.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification requirements.
2. Attending training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include being fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
