Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Supporting other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies and procedures.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Providing a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and sharing service best practices.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure positive interactions.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy operations under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow management.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to company policies on dispensing and error management.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management activities and maintaining proper documentation.
• Assisting in clinical services and maintaining good relationships with healthcare providers.
• Ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Following all policies and maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Completing assigned tasks and special projects as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification, with promotion requirements aligned accordingly.
• Attending training sessions and acquiring continuing education credits to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
