Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting with other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in pharmacy systems and cash register operations.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and sharing best practices in customer service.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Building strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy practice under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, and verifying medicines.
• Reporting prescription errors and adhering to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handling cash register operations, processing claims, and supporting inventory management.
• Supporting clinical services and maintaining good relationships with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining pharmacy cleanliness and supplies, and complying with all policies and procedures.

Training & Personal Development

• Obtaining and maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program or state certification.
• Participating in training and continuing education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
