Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in their operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and sharing customer service best practices.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Building strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medicines, and managing workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and supporting inventory management.
• Supporting clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment and supporting external relationships with healthcare providers.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and/or state registration, with promotion criteria linked to certification achievement.
• Attending training sessions and acquiring continuing education credits to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
