Job summary

Heartland Community Health Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in delivering prompt, friendly pharmaceutical services. You will help with inventory control, order processing, and MTM activities while ensuring compliance with policies.

The role involves patient interactions, prescription preparation, and coordination with the pharmacy team in a clinic setting. Prior PTCE certification and strong customer service are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Nationally Certified by PTCE.
• Minimum five (5) years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Maintain Continuing Education as required.

Responsibilities

• Interact face to face with public and staff to assist patients in accessing medications.
• Assist Lead Pharmacy Technician with inventory management and on-hand quantities.
• Facilitate recall information to patients as needed.
• Operate cash register and handle payments while balancing registers.
• Assist pharmacist with filling prescriptions and preparing orders for delivery or mail.
