Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, with broad training in related fields or a pharmacy technician program.
• 6 months pharmacy technician or healthcare experience required; equivalent training may count for experience.
• Current registration/licensure or eligibility as a Pharmacy Technician in the respective state; PTCB certification required on or within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare prescriptions, ensuring accurate transcription and dosage calculations.
• Provide customer service at register and via telephone, complying with HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain department safety and cleanliness; manage inventory and stocking.
• Assist in LTC prescription preparation and packaging; support third-party adjudication and copay assistance.
