ChenMed in Richmond, VA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who will assist with the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. The incumbent supports the Pharmacist and coaches other technicians, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

You will greet patients, help providers, maintain inventory, verify medication accuracy, and help keep a safe, clean pharmacy environment while delivering high-quality healthcare

• Maintains pharmacy inventory and places orders.
• Maintains knowledge of asset protection; processes claims for order errors.
• Keeps pharmacy safe and clean; adheres to procedures.
• Uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy and check for interactions.
• Reports prescription errors to the Pharmacist.
