Job summary

Harris Teeter in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and provide superb customer service. You will handle reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing with HIPAA compliance.

Maintain active state registrations and assist with non-dispensing services as required. You’ll also coach clerks and technicians, perform post-fill checks, and ensure safety and sanitation standards according to policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have national/state registration, certification, or licensure as required by state law.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy tech registration/licensure preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in responsibilities except where pharmacist's professional judgment is required.
• Provide patient-focused service while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Maintain current registration/certification as required by state.
• Assist with non-dispensing services and CLIA-waived screenings where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Coach and train clerks/technicians as directed by management.
