Harris Teeter is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and deliver outstanding service to customers at our McLean, VA location. You will assist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

You must maintain state or national registration/certification, help coach clerks and technicians, and perform post-fill audits to ensure data accuracy. The role emphasizes health-wellness services and safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
• Provide accurate, courteous customer service in a pharmacy setting.
• Assist pharmacist with duties while following protocol.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Perform essential duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
• Maintain current state or national registration/certification.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities excluding professional judgement.
• Dispense medications and deliver stellar customer service.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Conduct post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Assist non-dispensing services using various platforms.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in line with laws and policies.
• Provide additional health services as allowed.
• Comply with all sanitation and safety regulations.
• Report illegal activity as required.
• Perform essential functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
