Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to provide exceptional customer service and support pharmacy operations. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry, dispense products, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering accurate, friendly service.

You will count, measure and prepare products, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment, contributing to safe, efficient and customer-centric experiences in our store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient privacy.
• Operate cash register and process transactions including Credit/Debit Cards, EBT, and Gift Cards.
• Count, measure and prepare products using company best practices; maintain clean, organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Assist pharmacist with data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing; triage calls and inquiries.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activity.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and maintain inventory control.
