Job summary

Kroger Co. is looking for a pharmacy clerk in Colorado to deliver exceptional customer service while assisting pharmacists and handling medication dispensing and data entry.

You will support health and wellness initiatives, manage transactions, and maintain compliant, clean work areas in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, being 18+, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with food safety and safety regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Follow guidelines on inventory management, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements and supplies.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Count, measure and prepare specified product per company best practices.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure best value for customer and company.
• Answer phone and triage inquiries.
• Adhere to guidelines for coupons, cash shortages, and shrink control.
• Operate cash register and process transactions securely.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing processes.
• Assist pharmacists in responsibilities that do not require professional judgment.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Handle legend orders and Central Fill deliveries.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Provide assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
