Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team, ensuring accurate prescriptions, safety, and friendly service. You’ll follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help deliver immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

This full-time role requires state licensure and national certification where applicable, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to travel within the market if needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent if not addressed by state rules.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists with patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone while helping patients.
• Complete basic inventory duties and assist with inventory controls and cycle counts.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and stay open to feedback for growth.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Comply with federal, state, local laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional patient health services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowed by law.
