Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a pharmacy technician to support daily store operations, ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate customer service. You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, and help with immunizations and other services where allowed.

The role requires state licensure/certification per state guidelines, willingness to travel within the market, regular attendance including nights and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice.
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients with enthusiasm and empathy across pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; support immunizations and other services as allowed.
• Conduct basic inventory tasks and aid in returns-to-stocks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
