Job summary

CVS Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help immunization services where allowed by state rules.

In this role, you will learn to navigate state Board of Pharmacy requirements, maintain patient privacy, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store environment while supporting patients and teammates alike.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks over time and pivot quickly between tasks.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Assist with inventory activities and proper medication handling.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training.
