Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Texas. You will provide exceptional customer service, accurately process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations including inventory management and third-party adjudication.

The role requires experience with RxEVO, RxIMS, and pharmacy software, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain PHI privacy. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Role models / provides superior customer service and service standards
• Promotes / embodies Greet, Ask & Thank and H-E-B telephone strategies
• Manages exception station; solves third-party issues
• Receives / processes written prescriptions using RxEVO; verifies patient info and inputs into the system
• Coordinates Rx screening events, flu shot scheduling, immunization scheduling and future events
• Maintains H-E-B Rx screener status; participates in screening events
• Assists with pharmacy operations tasks ( recalls, storage, stock returns, etc.)
• Orders / manages inventory; processes invoices daily
• Reviews Warehouse and DSD orders; checks deliveries for accuracy
• Maintains automated prescription processing equipment and calibration
• Applies computer troubleshooting and prescription application overview
• Processes RxIMS reports (compliance, inventory, overrides)
• Performs other assigned duties
• Ensures PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance
• Participates in 5-S and Pharmacy Standards Review
• Returns to stock procedures and shelf presentation
• Supports facility maintenance and 5-S compliance
