Job summary

ShopRite - West Deptford, NJ seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in processing prescriptions and delivering high-quality customer service. Role requires strong attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include inputting patient data, labeling prescriptions, stocking the pharmacy, and maintaining a safe work environment. Eligible benefits include vision, dental, life insurance, and pension/401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Process prescriptions with pharmacist assistance, including labeling and counting.
• Input patient information for processing prescriptions.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and HIPAA.
