Job summary

ShopRite of Wall in Wall Township, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist in dispensing medications and delivering high‑quality customer service. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to follow state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include inputting patient information, counting and labeling prescriptions, stocking the pharmacy, assisting customers, and upholding safety, cleanliness, and professional standards every day.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and handle chemicals safely.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately collect payment and provide change.
• Input patient information for processing prescriptions.
• Assist the Pharmacist in processing prescriptions, counting and labeling.
• Stock and organize pharmaceuticals as directed.
• Help customers locate over-the-counter stock.
• Maintain security and cleanliness of the Pharmacy Department.
• Ensure compliance with drug laws and confidentiality.
