Job summary

ShopRite of 20th Ave in College Point, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist in dispensing medications and serving customers with care. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work with a team in a busy pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing prescriptions, counting and labeling, stocking, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while complying with all laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to use computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Process prescriptions by inputting patient information.
• Assist Pharmacist in processing prescriptions, counting and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, organized Pharmacy area.
• Promote safety and confidentiality of patient information.
