Job summary

Raley's in Benicia, CA is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is positive and passionate about helping customers and supporting the pharmacist. You will assist with prescriptions, input data, verify refills, and communicate with doctors to obtain authorizations.

Qualifications

• Board of Pharmacy State License required.
• This pharmacy position is a safety-sensitive role requiring drug testing.
• Permanent residency in California or Nevada is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers
• Answer phones and operate the cash register in the Pharmacy
• Operate the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs
• Call doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions
• Receive orders from patients and typing pharmacy labels
• Check in merchandise and stocking shelves
• Conduct general housekeeping duties when needed
• Assist the pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise from shelves

Education
