CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site role in Covington, Louisiana. You will support the pharmacy team with prescriptions, patient interactions, and daily operations while following SOPs and state regulations.

The position requires state licensure/certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 years of technician experience is preferred. Expect regular shifts, customer service focus, and opportunities to assist with immunizations where allowed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice, including licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, applicant must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, or actively enrolled in high school/equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience as Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Accurately confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law; support vaccines and patient education.
• Physical demands include standing for long periods and light lifting as part of daily workflow.
