ShopRite of Rockaway in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in providing medications and health products to customers, while delivering excellent service.

The position requires ability to read and communicate effectively in English, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and comply with safety and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes patient care, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately collect payment and provide proper change.
• Input patient information for processing prescriptions.
• Assist Pharmacist in processing prescriptions, counting and labeling.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Adhere to all drug laws and safety standards.
• Interact with physicians and use reference materials as needed.
