Job summary

CVS Health in Virginia seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team, ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, and deliver caring service to patients at the store. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help maintain safe, compliant operations.

This role requires licensure or national certification where applicable, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age and licensure/certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in high school/equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support patient experiences.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with stock management.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and CVS policies.
