Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support in-store pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and delivering exceptional patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory management, and contribute to a caring, compliant patient experience.

The role requires adherence to state board rules, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 years of technician experience.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure/certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent or actively enrolled in high school/equivalency.
• State board licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and establish efficient workflow in-store operations.
• Provide empathetic customer service and resolve patient questions.
• Assist with immunizations where permitted and training allows.
• Complete basic inventory activities and participate in cycle counts.
• Support the pharmacy team with scheduling and coverage across stores.
