Job summary

Home Life Healthcare Corp. in Malone, NY seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to assist professional staff in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions to patients, while supporting inventory management and third-party receivables.

You will operate the pharmacy management and POS systems, perform cashier duties, handle calls, ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist before dispensing, and participate in compliance with HIPAA and quality policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AS degree preferred.
• PTCB or other certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions.
• Support inventory management including ordering, receiving and cycle counts.
• Process third-party claims submissions and resubmissions as needed.
• Assist cashier duties and operate the register and phone lines.
• Ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to quality policies.
