Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, verify prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs
• Communication Skills: interact effectively with patients and colleagues
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and handle items as part of dispensing and stocking
