Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering efficient, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service across our Texas stores. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where permitted, and help maintain inventory while upholding safety and privacy standards.

Applicants should meet state board requirements, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be prepared to complete required training and licensure.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Deliver empathetic and personalized service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Perform basic inventory duties and support boxing, returns, and stock movement
• Assist with immunizations or vaccines where allowed by law and training permits
• Support scheduling and ensure patient privacy and safety in all interactions
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy
