Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in our retail stores. The technician will support pharmacy teams to deliver accurate prescription filling, friendly patient service, and compliance with SOPs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, performing inventory tasks, and providing vaccine and immunization support where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Age requirement: may be 16+ if not mandated by the state board
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy across workflow, inventory, and patient interactions
• Assist pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law
• Complete required training and comply with policies to protect patient privacy and safety
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs
