Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in our retail stores. You will assist in prescription processing, follow SOPs, and help ensure patient safety and service quality.

The role requires adherence to state regulations, regular attendance, and flexibility to cover shifts across the market. As you gain certification and complete required training, you may assist with immunizations and other clinical services where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing pharmacy practice.
• If state board has no minimum age, applicant must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in HS or a GED program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic patient service and assist in immunizations and other services as trained.
• Support inventory activities and keep accurate records within regulatory guidelines.
• Be flexible to travel to market stores as needed and support the pharmacy team.
