Job summary

CVS Health in New York is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering efficient, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service. • Comply with state board requirements, including age/education/licensure; at least 16 years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state licensure and national certification requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where lawful and trained.
• Provide patient care with empathy, handling immunizations and point-of-care testing as appropriate.
• Process inventory activities including put-away, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks.
• Maintain attendance, complete required training, and ensure prescription accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team; handle math for prescription quantities.
• Support scheduling and travel to other market stores as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with laws and professional standards.
