Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and caring customer service. You will handle production, pick-up, drive-thru and drop-off workflows in a fast-paced retail setting.

Expected duties include following SOPs, assisting with inventory, and contributing to positive patient experiences while upholding privacy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Minimum age and education requirements vary by state; high school diploma or equivalent required or active enrollment
• State board licensure and national certification requirements vary by state, to learn more
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and ensure patient safety
• Assist with pharmacy workflow at production, pick-up, drive-thru and drop-off stations
• Deliver empathetic customer service and assist patients and customers
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and waiting bin inventories
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with regulatory requirements
