Job summary

CVS Health in Tulare, CA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient prescription fulfillment and patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and other services where allowed, and help maintain inventory while delivering compassionate service that strengthens the CVS Health brand and trust with customers.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, be friendly, understand patients' reactions
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate dispensed quantities, days supply, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: resolve patient or colleague issues effectively
• Physical Demands: remain mobile, lift and move items, perform tasks safely
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Support immunizations where permissible and trained
• Travel to stores in the market to fill scheduling needs
