Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, while delivering compassionate customer service in-store.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed, maintain inventory, and help ensure a positive patient experience across drive-thru, pickup, and in-store interactions.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice, including age, education, licensure/certification
• If required by state, minimum age may be 16
• High school diploma or equivalent required or actively enrolled in high school
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Assist with inventory tasks, including receiving deliveries and cycle counts
• Support to expand clinical and technical knowledge and travel to stores as needed by the business
• Comply with laws, regulations and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health care services, such as immunizations, where allowed by law and training
